Blood which constitutes around 7–8% of an adult’s body weight plays a vital role in maintaining our overall health and well-being. Blood delivers nutrients, hormones, oxygen to living cells and carry away the waste products. What if blood is invaded by too much sugar? This is exactly what happens in diabetes which invites a collection of problems that eventually leads to some grave consequences if left unconstrained.

Complications

Some complications of diabetes are itching of the skin particularly in the groin area, slow healing of the cuts and wounds, susceptibility to Yeast (fungal) infection, tingling or numbness of the feet or hands, weight gain & weight related problems and erectile dysfunctions.
